How to show disclaimer during selfregistration ?

kha @ Fri Aug 22 05:59:31 EEST 2014
Hello everybody,

I'm trying to set up the selfregistration with auto enabling of new users.

I already searched the forum and followed these guides:
http://www.crushftp.com/crush6wiki/Wiki.jsp?page=Custom%20disclaimer
http://www.crushftp.com/crush6wiki/Wiki.jsp?page=Self%20Registration

The selfregistration is working and users are created (diabled),
but the disclaimer doesn't show up and so the event-trigger doesn't change the value for "-1".

So I'm stuck what I have missed or what I have to do next, to make the disclaimer show up during the selfregistration progress?

CrushFTP Version 7.1.0_82

Hi, kha.

Are you sure the WriteFile is directed to the proper path?
If so are all the fields empty beside the replace with part, to enable the user?

Are you intending of using the disclaimer inside the registration form or after that?
If you want to have the disclaimer after they register and after they get to log in, you need to set the disclaimer form on the default user to start every time they log in.
Also, depending on your intends you can set the disclaimer label on the registration form.
Can you send us a screenshot of how would your form look for the registration?

Have you set the disclaimer.html in the CrushFTP/Webinterafce folder?

Let us know.

Thanks,
Arpad.

Hi Arpad,

thanks for your response.

Are you sure the WriteFile is directed to the proper path?
- FILE://ftpdata/CrushFTP7_PC/users/MainUsers/{registration_username}/user.XML

If so are all the fields empty beside the replace with part, to enable the user?
- yes all fields, except "Find/replace" are empty

Are you intending of using the disclaimer inside the registration form or after that?
- I want to use it inside the registration form

If you want to have the disclaimer after they register and after they get to log in,
you need to set the disclaimer form on the default user to start every time they log in.
- this is not intended

Also, depending on your intends you can set the disclaimer label on the registration form.
Can you send us a screenshot of how would your form look for the registration?
- I've send them via mail to support@crushftp.com

Hi Arpad,

thanks again for your support.

Solution:
I simply missed to delete the "" string in the "Add Before" section of the event definition.
For the registration user it's also recommended by Arpad, to check "Show after every login" after assigning the messageForm in the WebInterface section.
