Can't push file to remote server when password contains ?

dtexley@trilliumchp.com @ Mon Aug 18 15:15:33 EEST 2014
I'm trying to push a file to a remote server with the Move command. It fails with a SFTP login failure, when I go back to the crushtask I find that the command line of:

sftp://user:p?assword@org.servername.com:22/in/{name}

has been changed to

sftp://user:p/?assword@org.servername.com:22/in/{name}

I can login using normal clients with the original password, but crush escapes the password when storing and I'm thinking it doesn't unescape it when sending.

Is there any way to get around this?

Thanks.

This is still 6, IT support services is glacially moving towards the 7 upgrade....

The example is what I see when a "?" is embedded in the password, it converts it to "/?" and sends that as the password.

This is something fixed in v7. So for now you need to use a different password without that special character (avoid url unsafe chars), or move to v7...

Avoid:

@ # % & : / + ?

But these are fine:

< > , . ' " ; [ ] { } | = - _ ) ( * ^ $ ! ` ~ etc.

Thanks,
Ben

I was afraid that was the case. Thanks for the quick reply.
