Your IP is banned

joseph @ Wed Jul 16 00:25:58 EEST 2014
I get the following:

Your IP is banned, no further requests will be processed from this IP.

Just plain text as a response. No access to anything.

What is going on?

This is even on 127.0.0.1.

The message is exactly what it states. The IP is banned, or not allowed based on your IP restrictions.

Check your prefs, banning tab and see if the IP is banned there, or if your restrictions are set to only allow a few IPs (making all other IPs not allowed.)

Thanks,

Ben

Is there a response for this.

Our satellite office cannot connect and we don't have IPs banned

I've noticed that this might happen especially when setting up the server in load balancing and testing a lot.

Make sure to add you IP(s) to the "never ban" prior to starting working with load balancing.

We had the problem that Amazon AWS Load balancer got banned so no connections could be made at all...

127.0.0.1:8080 is banned ip, what am I supposed to do.

Then you changed IP configs and are no longer even allowing localhost...

Restore a prior prefs.XML file from the backup folder CrushFTP has made for you automatically.

Arnad fixed it, thanks anyway
