Automate install of Daemon Service @ Tue Jun 17 17:58:45 EEST 2014

We are trying to create a script to automate the install on Windows. Is there a way to avoid having to click "Install Daemon Service"? Is there a java command that can be run instead of clicking that?

(Sorry for the delay, we accidentally unwatched this forum and did not realize there were spots pending. We realized today and are following up now.)

the parameter "-dmzi" all create a service install, but configured for a DMZ config in its wrapper.conf. So you can do the -dmzi for the install, and then replace your wrapper.conf file with a non DMZ version.

I have performed the installation of JRE and now I need to install the CrushFTP service.

Could you expand on this a little further what command do I need to execute, do I need the enterprise license for an automated install?

CrushFTP is technically using a java wrapper to install the service.

So install once somewhere, and look at the folder "service" it makes. It has everything configured in it.

You can then perform your own command line service install like this:

java -jar wrapper.jar -i wrapper.conf

But do so using elevated privileges.
