OSX Server 10.8: Can't login any longer into CrushFTP 6 Webinterface by using 127.0.0.1

Hi @ all,

for any reason, I can't login any longer into the webconsole of CrishFTP 6. It appears, as if any update of OSX 10.8 or 10.8 Server changed something to the system, so that not the CrushFTP console is answering but something of OSX. Whenever I try to connect using the URL https://127.0.0.1/WebInterface/login.html I'm receiving a certificate request. When I add the persmission for this certificate (which comes from the Server, not from CrushFTP), I'm receiving an error message, that the web service (obviously from OSC Server) is deactivated and that an admin might be able to active it.

How can I can address the local CrushFTP Service instead of the OSX included webservice?

Thanks in advance,
Remigius

BTW: It DID work previously - even with OSX Server installed! But since I didn't login for quite some time, I don't know when this behavior changed. Sure I performed several security updates for OSX in that timeframe, hence my suspicion about some of those which might changed the behavior...

Here is the answer from our FAQ.

Q: How can I remove the OS X apache service to regain control over my ports?

A: In terminal, issue these commands. Once OSX Server starts its apache service, it won't stop it. It will only print a message saying its off.

sudo launchctl unload /System/Library/LaunchDaemons/org.apache.httpd.plist

sudo launchctl remove /System/Library/LaunchDaemons/org.apache.httpd.plist

Thanks,
Ben
