When trying to download a folder with a large file over 5 gb, the user ends up with a corrupt archive when downloading through web interface.
I've tried changing the zip compressing level, turned zip64 on and off, but without any luck.
Is there a limit in file size?
Use the latest CrushFTP v8 (8.0.4_35+) and turn on zip64. The resulting zip will be 64bit, and need WinZip or Keka to unzip it as built in OS zip tools can't handle 64bit zips.
Prior versions of CrushFTP did an optional 64bit which didn't always work depending on who the library made its own decisions. New version force 64bit always if that is turned on.
Hi - running newest version. Has turned zip64 on.
Neither Winzip or Winrar can unpack the files. There is no problem when downloading a folder with smaller files.
What is your exact version?
its: Version 8.0.4_35
Sorry, failing memory. The flag didn't change behavior, we added a new flag.
Set that to true.
Super, it works :-) also with the default zip unpacker in windows 10 :-)
Thanx for the quick fix.
